Hope Deliverance Tabernacle Ministries was established on July 8, 1984 by the late Apostle Michael A Mitchell and Dr. Sharon Mitchell. The Ministry first service was held at Virrick Park in Coconut Grove, Florida. As membership increased, the Ministry moved to two other locations in the Perrine area, prior to establishment of its current facility in the South Miami Heights area.

The heartbeat of Hope Deliverance Tabernacle Ministries has been to serve people and to teach each person how to develop an intimate relationship with a loving and caring Father.  Our name suggests that we are the “House of Prayer for Everyone.”  Upon visiting Hope Ministries in the early ninety’s Apostle Luis Greenup was so moved by the spirit of excellence in the Ministry, that he said the letters “HOPE”
stood for “Helping Other People Excel.”


On July 11, 2009 we celebrated our 25th Church Anniversary and Elder Andre and Minister Kim Sanders were installed as Pastors. On December 6, 2009, Pastors Andre and Kim Sanders were ordained by Pastors Willie and Denise Johnson of Orlando Faith International Ministries, Orlando, Florida. Now as we are celebrating our 26th Church Anniversary under the leadership of Pastors Andre and Kim Sanders, Hope Deliverance Tabernacle Ministries continues to make rich deposits from the Word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit into the lives of His people. Pastor Sanders’ have a fervent desire to, build the church, reveal the Father and make sons and daughters. 


Our 2009 – 2010 year was a very thrilling time and we have journeyed through some challenging times.  We were blessed and strengthened by the ministry work of Pastors Willie and Denise Johnson, Drs.Vincent and Constance McIntrye, Prophet Sterling Marshall, Pastor Xavier Jones, Pastor Allen and Pastor Angie Giles.The future is looking bright at Kingdom Faith Global Ministries and we are looking forward to what the Lord will do for us and through us the next 25 years.

During the early years, Hope Ministries made its mark in the community through the Outreach Food Ministry. Each week our Outreach Ministry would prepare and distribute brown bagged lunches in Coconut Grove. To date, we have provided bagged groceries containing fruits, vegetables, canned goods, bakery items and so much more to approximately 2400 individuals’ per month throughout the Miami South Dade community. 


  • “Fireproof your Marriage”, leadership meetings with topics like, “Lessons You Can Learn from Experienced Leaders” and 
  • a nine week Summer Vacation Bible/Business School for our Youth Ministry and children in the community. Also, a very unique ministry, 
  • the Full-Fledge Ministry, reaches an exciting group from the ages of 19 through 32, 
  • the Singles Ministry hosted their second Annual Singles Conference, 
  • the Men’s Ministry’s, Kingdom Empowerment, 
  • the Women’s Ministry’s, “You Look Spavelous”, and 
  • the Wisdom Worshipers Game Day filled with fun and laughter, are just a sample of how the Lord has blessed us through the teachings and ministry of the Pastors. On June 26, 2010, history was made, when one of our daughters from the Youth Ministry, Alicia Royes, age 14, preached a dynamic message, “You Choose the Ship or the Lifeboat”.

Over the past year, they have taught from the book of Acts during our stimulating Bible Study every Wednesday night. Tuesday night is Empowerment Night and Pastor Sanders empowers the members through the word of Wisdom and the word of Knowledge as they intercede for the nation.
